Things are finally starting to come together at my house. I love all the ledges and high ceilings where I can add little (or big) accents!

Ballerina Painting

I'm lovin this painting in my bedroom, I found it at TJ Max for only 20 bucks! Now I just want to get a dark cherry-ish wood frame to match my bed frame. The house is slowly coming together.

Slowly.

New Kitchen Island

The kitchen in my townhouse has a lot of space and a lot of cupboards, which I love!  So I thought and island would be perfect, okay so it was actually Lindee's idea, but I love it.  We went to Ikea and found the perfect one that matches my kitchen.

My New Couch

The fun part of moving is that you get to pick out new furniture. My old couch was way too big for my townhome so I got an awesome deal on this one and it's the perfect size.

And it's pretty comfy too :o)

My New Kitchen Table

Since moving into my new place I've spent about 3 weeks with no furniture. I found this kitchen table at Ashley furniture and it is the perfect size for the SMALL space and it finally arrived!

Plus it matches my wine cabinet, I love it!

Dyson Slim

If you know me, you know that I LOVE vacuums. I'm probably obsessed with vacuums because my mom is obsessed with vacuums. Alex bought me this Dyson Slim a couple years ago for Christmas and I haven't needed to buy another one since.

Most of our upstairs is hard wood floor and we have a huge rug in the living room so I wanted something that can vacuum both carpet and wood floors. Which is why I love this, I can go directly from vacuuming the rug to vacuuming the hard wood floors. Plus it's lightweight and easily fits in my coat closet.

Wow, I just realized this sounds like a commercial. I promise this is just my opinion, Dyson didn't pay me to say any of this. But now that I think of it, they should!

That's it, I'm calling them right now!

My Cleaning Girls

We call them "Our girls", they come every other week and clean our whole house. I was just going to use them once to just do one huge deep clean of my entire home, but then they sucked me in. I just got addicted.

I'm addicted to my girls, and I'm not ashamed.

Does anyone else have girls?

My New Floor Lamps!

I got a gift card to Bed Bath and Beyond for my birthday and ordered two of these beautiful lamps for my family room. They just arrived in the mail yesterday. Yay, finally I can see what I'm doing!

Prize I Won at Nikki Crumpet's

The prize I won was that cute little pea pod magnet, but look at all the other stuff she included! I was so surprised! Unfortunately my husband opened the Symphony bar before I got a picture of it so yes, it's open in the picture.

And look at what she made for me!

Isn't that cute!! It's hangin out on my mantel now:

And, you think that pink kitty is just a key chain? Wrong! It's a weapon! Watch out dudes, I'm not afraid to use it!

Thanks Nikki!

Rub-A-Way

This is not a bar of soap. It's a stainless steel bar that removes garlic, onion, and other odors that remain on your hands after you cook. You just rub it like a bar of soap under water and voila! The smells are gone!
